Visiting Story City
Take a whirl on the 1913 Antique Carousel, see a movie in the historic Story Theatre/Grand Opera House, or visit the restored 1903 Queen Anne style Bartlett Museum and Carriage House. Outdoor opportunities are plentiful whether you're playing golf, kayaking, or playing tennis. Visit the community recreation center, complete with walking track, gym, exercise classes and equipment. Bicycle trails are a top priority for Story City including expanded trails along the along the river. Enjoy a picnic along the banks of the Skunk River and enjoy the beautiful scenery from the 1936 Swinging Bridge.
