May 7 Enjoy wine samples from Prairie Moon Winery and a nice meal catered by Bridge board member Mike Brown and Harlan's Food Mart @ the Swinging Bridge Studio. Tickets are $15pp. Call 733-4214 to reserve your spot.
 
May 8 You are invited to Gookin Ford from 3:00 - 8:00pm for their 42nd Anniversary Open House.
May 9 Elementary School Carnival from 5;30-8pm at the Elementary School.  Come for supper, games, prized and silent auction.  A raffle will also be held for a Nintendo Wii
May 9-11 Showing this week at the Story Theatre: Prom Night at 7pm.  Tickets are $3.00
May 10 Walkathon Event by Bethany Life Communities and Riverside Bible Camp. For information call Janet at 733-3040 or John at 733-5271
May 11 JSTT Meeting at 5pm at the Swinging Bridge Studio
May 12 The Bertha Bartlett Public Library staff will host its second Family Night at 6:30pm.  This is a family evening of story-telling for pre-school age children to attend with their parents.
 
May 12 STORY! Guild meeting at 7pm at the BBPL.  Everyone welcome.

May 14: Ribbon Cutting at the new Story City Community Center at 1pm.

May 17: Pancake Breakfast at the Story City Fire Station for the Story City First Responders, Story City Ambulance and Roland-Story  HOSA from 7-10 am at the Story City Fire Station.  Free will donations will be accepted.

May 21: GCC Board Meeting

May 27,28 & 30: Disney Classic Movies will be shown at 2pm in the library meeting room.

May 28 & 29: Story City hosts Main Street University

June 4-8: Musical "Beauty and the Beast" at 7pm and at 1:30 pm on the 8th.  Pick up your tickets at Norsemen Realty.

June 6-8: Scandinavian Days Weekend

June 18: Music in the Park sponsored by the HS Vocal Group

June 20: GCC Golf Tournament

June 28: BRISC (Bike Ride In Story City)
